Chief Exec's Comment October 2008

Nearly the Greatest Show on Earth!

Roll up, roll up for the Greatest Show on Earth... well may be not quite, but Interbuild 2008 certainly provides one of the greatest platforms to promote our sector. CAB once again will be heading up the Aluminium in Construction Zone – just look for the huge ‘Aluminium in Construction’ ceiling banner in Hall 5. Not only is the whole supply chain represented there but CAB has its own unique stand called ‘Aluminium Village’ (A151) within the Zone itself which has something for everyone.

‘Aluminium Village’ consists of a CAB information centre and lounge area together with a number of member company stands on the same island site. Our information desk can provide everyone in the supply chain with up to date information about standards, regulations and best practice. In addition there is information on CAB members and an outline of our exciting 2009 Events programme.

Architects, Specifiers and others in the supply chain will want to obtain copies of the CAB ‘Aluminium & Sustainability – a cradle-to-cradle approach’ Report which are freely available from the stand or can be downloaded from the website (www.c-a-b.org.uk).

Whatever you do at Interbuild 2008 come and pay us a visit and meet the CAB Team of David Earle- CAB Technical Officer, Martin Ford –CAB Technical Support Officer , Julie Harley, CAB Office & Events Manager and myself.

We look forward to seeing you in Hall 5, Stand A151.

Justin Ratcliffe
CAB Chief Executive
