Cracking
The Code
The Government has announced that from 1st May this
year a Code for Sustainable Homes rating will be required for all new
build homes in England. It is essential that house builders know the regulations
and the increased challenges they will face.
To assist house builders NHBC is running a series of one-day courses in
June to provide practical guidance and advice on the updated Code requirements
for 2008.
NHBC's Training Manager, Rob Lockey, said: It is essential that
house builders are up to speed on the changes and requirements of the
Code, including the minimum standards for energy and water being set beyond
the requirements of Building Regulations. NHBC's one-day 'Code for Sustainable
Homes' course covers all aspects of the Code and will prepare house builders
for these changes.
Highly experienced NHBC staff will offer expert advice and guidance for
the course.
Places are available for delegates to attend the course at the following
dates and locations:
Dartford - 10 June
Basingstoke - 11 June
Bath - 12 June
Daventry - 17 June
Nottingham - 18 June
West Bromwich - 19 June
Darlington - 24 June
Leeds - 25 June
Bolton - 26 June
