Promac's
LogiKal Solution
Promac's aluminium division and machinery partner Emmegi has been working
closely with Business Micros (Aluminium) Ltd for some years and more
recently with the companys LogiKal software solution.
Aluminium fabricators and processors require a seamless link between
software and machine and this has been proven across the entire Emmegi
product range from Promac.
Aluminium fabricator, Glasgow-based Marshall Brown Windows Ltd is one
such company that has benefitted from the integration of several Emmegi
machines with the LogiKal software. The machinery includes: Diamant
d/l 4 axis CNC machine, Comet machining centre, Classic Star and twin
electra double mitre saws. Neil McKenna from Marshall Brown is quick
to point out the importance of linking software to machine: Production
efficiencies are paramount in any manufacturing environment and the
LogiKal software links perfectly with the Emmegi machinery. It makes
us a very effective production operation.
Promac's relationship also extends to working closely with all the leading
aluminium systems companies and it has even provided machinery in training
schools at Smart Systems and more recently Beaufort Secure Design.
Ian Latimer, director at Promac concludes: We are keen to broker
relationships in the industry as we have shown with Business Micros
(Aluminium) and our membership of CAB, so are both committed and experienced
in the sector. We have five dedicated field-based engineers that specialise
in the Emmegi aluminium machinery out of a total of over 20 at Promac
and these have been working with their Business Micros (Aluminium) counterparts
to provide some truly impressive production solutions.
