Hunter
Douglas Expands Sales Team
Hunter Douglas has appointed two new façade
sales specialists to support the company's expanding UK market.
Chris Wallis (below left) has been appointed to cover the north of England,
while Paul Turner (below right) will become the company's first dedicated
sales representative in Scotland for five years.

Both
new appointees have a long pedigree in the sector, having worked for
some of the biggest names in construction, including several of Hunter
Douglas's biggest competitors in the façades and sun control
market.
Chris Wallis previously spent more than three years in a sales role
at Hunter Douglas and has now returned after an absence of 10 years.
Paul Turner, based in Perthshire, originally trained as a mechanical
engineer before building a successful career in sales and cladding.
The expansion of Hunter Douglas's sales force is largely the result
of increased orders in Scotland and northern England. The firm has adjusted
the coverage areas of some of its existing area sales managers to cater
for the strengthened team.
Andrew Lee, UK general manager of Staffordshire-based Hunter Douglas
Facade & Sun Control Systems, said: The high calibre of candidates
we have managed to attract to these new roles reflects the excellent
reputation of Hunter Douglas products.
We've always refused to compromise on quality and we will continue
to strive to provide both the very best architectural products and the
very best advice and after-sales support from our team.
I'm delighted to see Chris returning to Hunter Douglas after 10
years, and I know Paul is equally keen to make an impression in the
Scottish market. Scotland has been a great success story recently, and
this new position reflects the level of enquiries we are receiving from
north of the border.
