Healthy and Energy Eficient Homes are made Thanks to SAP Appendix Q

ADM Systems has supplied, installed and commissioned a Vent-Axia® Central Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) system into a prestigious property in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Designed by Elaine Graham Architects, the property now has high levels of energy efficiency, along with a healthier internal air environment. The market-leading Vent-Axia® MEV system from ADM Systems was chosen because it has less dependency on background ventilators and requires only a single discharge grille for the whole property. The Vent-Axia® system also has smaller ducts which are easier to install and allowed it to fit in with the overall design of the property.

SAP Appendix Q offers a method, to enable building designers to improve the Dwelling Emission Rate of their developments, through the use of energy efficient ventilation products. The Vent-Axia® MEV system chosen for the development in North Yorkshire and installed by ADM Systems provides simultaneous, low level extraction from wet rooms in the property, such as kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms, to a central extract fan via a system of ductwork and grilles. The extracted air is then discharged to outside via a single duct and grille.
